2026 ANNUAL CONVENTIONThe 2026 APA Annual Convention in St. Petersburg, Florida was an incredible event packed with inspiration, learning, and fun. The weekend kicked off with Kevin McNulty, who explored the organizational side of AI implementation, helping attendees develop a roadmap for introducing AI responsibly and effectively. Michael McBride followed with an insightful presentation on how to get architects to update their specifications and position your company as their preferred manufacturer. The educational program continued with Joe Tuttle, who shared creative approaches to connection solutions, and Noah Thibodeaux, who demonstrated how AI can be leveraged to improve precast plant efficiency. Together, these sessions offered valuable insights into the technologies, strategies, and innovations shaping the future of architectural precast. Attendees engaged in interactive panels throughout the event, tackling real-world challenges in cements, mix designs, and admixtures. Networking was a big highlight, with plenty of chances to connect—from the JBT Championship Golf Tournament that raised money for The Cure Starts Now Foundation to the closing awards dinner honoring top achievements in architectural precast. The event wrapped up with plant tours at Coreslab Structures and Standard Concrete Products, giving everyone a behind-the-scenes look at outstanding plants.
