Contextual design and response to historical rowhouses assists in successfully breaking down scale and massing of a large structure that occupies the city block. Integration of historical brick detailing into façade assists in blending with surroundings. Various overlapping brick colors/masses facilitate a more approachable / pedestrian friendly facility. Successful integration of various infill materials, deep recesses and various textures also assist in refinement of rhythm and scale.
